Remember your new year resolutions ? ——————————————————————————— Its been a month since the new year and you told yourself that this year you will finally get in shape and feel healthy right? ☑️Here is a few ideas that might help:
1️⃣Start always small with goals that you are more likley to stick with. Its easier to stay on track with a specific and realistic goal.
2️⃣Create a plan for success. Know how to deal with temptations like snoozing instead of going to the gym or ditching your healthy meal for some junkfood etc. Having a plan can make a difference between frustration and success.
3️⃣ Track of your progress to know that you are heading in the right direction or if the plan needs to be changed.
4️⃣ Focus on the habits and not the outcome. When you have adapted good habits it will show in your health long term.
5️⃣ Make it enjoyable! Find out what you enjoy about training and fitness and do it! Dont see your fitness/health journey as a start and an end. Enjoy the process.
6️⃣ Re commit if you have any setbacks, we are all human and life comes in the way sometimes. But remember that you are always in control and can get back where you left off.
7️⃣ Congratulate yourself on achieving parts of your goal. For example if your goal is to lose 20 ibs. Then go and enjoy a meal out for every 5 ibs you lose.
