Good health is one of those things we take for granted until we don’t have it. Unfortunately, it’s also one of the hardest and most expensive things to regain once it’s gone. What if I told you that this lunch was 100% following my food plan?! Not only that, it would help get me closer to my goals?? Listen, food shouldn’t be about deprivation. Ever. I love food way too much for someone to tell me I can’t eat this or that. Cutting carbs? No way! Telling me no chocolate or wine? No thanks. (Although a short term challenge to give things up is okay, long term, I’d never last!). Today, I’m munching on these homemade tortilla chips, dipped in this delicious taco meat and veggies. I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything. It’s all about combining macros to keep you full, making sure you’re getting all of your food groups in and keeping things interesting so you don’t get bored! And, I know this can seem confusing. But, I promise, we take out all the guesswork. You don’t have to count anything, you don’t have to keep track of anything, it’s more simple than you can imagine. I am passionate about nutrition and firmly believe that it is the fuel that keeps us healthy and keeps us happy. DM me so we can chat. 100% of you wanted a transformation post today... so here it is 👏🏼👏🏼 _ Decided to go with a face and 🍑 transformation today. Swipe for 🍑 transformation. I never really felt the need to grow one... just tone it up a bit, and judging from those two pictures, I think I've achieved my goal of doing just that👌🏼👏🏼 _ I seriously say this all the time, but I can't even begin to explain how this fitness community has changed my life! I'm so glad I decided to invest in myself and reach out to a coach (@tayraefit ). _ TBH the picture on the left of my #facetoface transformation was not from the beginning of my fitness journey. It was from my vacation in August, which was only 3 months into my fitness journey. I was starting to lose a little weight in my face. The picture on the right is from a couple weeks ago, which is 5-6 months later! I haven't really looked at a face to face comparison, but 😱😱 _ PROGRESS TAKES TIME. I'm guilty of wanting progress right away. I've learned the hard way that there is definitely NO QUICK FIX. I will forever be an advocate for weightlifting and macros. I'm seriously so excited thinking about how my body will transform in the next 5-6 months!👏🏼🙌🏼💪🏼🤗 _ Oh by the way, from June-now, I've eaten ALL OF THE FOOD. I have not restricted carbs or fats. I have not only eaten whole foods . I have treated myself many many times, yet I still was able to make progress. I've literally NEVER been happier with where I am in my life. I'll say it a million and one times... THIS IS A LIFESTYLE, NOT A DIET.
