As you know, I often visit different museums. And I especially like exhibitions of historical costumes😊. Usually I make a lot of photos and videos for my archive to remember how it was in reality. Every detail.
Are you interested in watching videos similar to this? If I see your reaction to this, I will more often publish such videos with details. Do you want to?
Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not really a town/city person. I'm more fitted to the countryside these days BUT certain towns/cities do grab my attention. And this was one of them. Say hello to Troyes, France. A stunning 16th century town with lots of Gothic churches and VERY WONKY half timbred houses. Nothing is straight here (I'm talking about the buildings here obviously 😄). While I was on a road trip around Europe with a friend of mine we stumbled across this town as we were heading from Switzerland to Paris. It's approx 150kms (93 miles) South-East of Paris. So, if you are visiting Paris I highly suggest a day trip here, well worth it.
This place was very relaxed, romantic, scenic and pretty bloody cool. You really won't believe how wonky the buildings are until you see them with your own eyes!
In the evenings the town comes alive, lovely places to eat, live music on the streets giving this place such a special, old french style town feel.
One to think about folks 😀 ✌️❤️💚💛 #Troyes#France#Travel#Europe#Roadtrip#Travelphotography#16thcentury#Gothictimes
Beautiful, beautiful Austria. I have been to 21 countries now, and Hallstatt is by far one of the most picturesque towns I have ever had the opportunity to photograph. These 16th century Alpine houses sit on the western shore of lake Hallstatt which lies in the mountainous region of Salzkammergut. Another enriching, world traveling experience. Can anyone say #fairytale ? 😍
