#tgif!!!......oh wait a minute I need groceries!!!
If your anything like me by Friday your fridge is empty and your scrounging to find something semi satisfying so you don't go crazy and eat what's left of the Halloween candy!! (We still have Halloween candy!!😬) .
Thankfully this little shake is packed of nutrients and vitamins that leave me feeling full and satisfied!! Helping to keep me away from candy and grab food!! Not to mention it's equal to 6 salads!! 6 salads I didnt have to spend 20 minutes making or finding fresh ingredients for! .
Is your shake fueling you through this Friday!?
One of my favorite leftovers from Thanksgiving dinner... the Turkey carcass. Because it makes the best bone broth and soups. EVER. In 24 hours this pot of goodness will be like,👌🏽. I’ll keep an eye on the pot and skim impurities from the top (which you get way less of by using organic free range meat) and before bed I’ll separate the meat (to save for soup) and only leave the veggies and bones to simmer all night. Tomorrow, I’ll toss bones and veggies. Save out 1/3 for a soup and freeze the rest for other meals or simply for broth when someone’s not feeling well. 😻🍲
Why should you bone broth...? Well, it can improve digestion, allergies, immune health, brain health, and so much more. Like, improving connective tissue, increasing hair growth/strength, and improving digestive issues and remineralizing teeth. Bone broth is also great to have on hand when loved ones get sick - it’s a soothing and immune boosting drink during illness! This stuff is very high in the amino acids proline and glycine which are vital for healthy connective tissue (ligaments, joints, around organs, etc). Happy sipping bone broth! 💚
The kids asked me to play catch with them in the backyard ...and I might not be the best when it comes to sports but it’s always fun being a goof with my lil people and seeing them laugh (with or at me 🤔) 💜💜 ...and gotta love our neighbors fence since Irma’s visit 😏
