Bulgarian embroidery ornaments by Ivan Koev, new edition. I am not sure when it was published for the first time, probably in the 50s, as the author mentions he was a student in 1936 and there are some paragraphs about Karl Marx :D I guess you could not publish any book in Bulgaria without the mention of Karl Marx back then during communism/socialism or whatever that regime was :D I can not embroider but I am thinking of using the designs on sweaters...The book arrived with a small gift - rose liqueur. Cheers :))
Double braided crochet cowl. I found the pattern on Ravelry and loved it. I changed it a bit, but it still looks a lot like the original:)) I am on a quest to finish all my wipes I've left in the middle. I started this in June, left it at the first braid and just forgot it:)) It actually takes no more than 2 hours to make. #crochetowl#crochet#crochetgram
I cut my left hand tonight while cutting some vegetables . I am not made for the kitchen :)) It is a bit awkward to crochet like that, even though I crochet with the right hand, it is harder to hold the yarn with the left. But I want to finish that sweater... #crochet#crochetgram#crochetsweater
The morning at the office is so calm. Not much work to do today, so I am spending some time knitting and drinking my New Zealand tea:) I am thinking of releasing this pattern... #knitting#knittinghat#knittingpattern
Pink hat for charity. I just got a call that I will be leading the knitting sessions for beginners for our charity knitting group. We'll start on Saturday with a scarf:) I am pretty excited. I have a question for you: which cast on do you consider the easiest for beginners? I primarily use the long tail cast on and I simply can not remember which one I used at the beginning...The long tail is very easy for me, but I don't think it's suitable for beginners...
