Without Merit by Colleen Hoover

Don't shoot! Haha. I know many loved this book but for me it was not her best work. It tackled mental health issues and familial issues and for me those just wasn't the best tropes to tackle in such a short book. They said it didn't have a lot of romance on it but I beg to differ. The first pages were so cringey and oozing with instalove. She wanted this book to be different than her others, yet it was just the same old CoHo for me. But that's just my opinion. I may have really outgrown her books.
“I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book! -- When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.” ― Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

Read this as a part of Great Tales of Horror by HP Lovecraft for #BPDontBlink by @bookishpinoys. It was not as horrific as I wanted it to be but it was realistic in a way that this could really happen. Great start for me. ❤
