"You are too generous to trifle with me. If your feelings are still what they were last April, tell me so at once. My affections and wishes are unchanged, but one word from you will silence me on this subject for ever."
♥I love this book.

The best 2nd proposal to the same woman in literature. #prideandprejudice #whydoidothistomyself #owmyheart
Be careful with your spelling!! #qotd Do you have a pet peeve? I HATE the sound of people smacking their lips when they chew, and people picking their plate up and licking it when they finish their food. Bad table manners just gross me out in general.

A secondhand bookshop I encountered a few months ago. Reminds me of how much I miss reading; I can hardly wait to start on all those books 📚

I started Unravel Me (Shatter Me #2) tonight and I loooove this seriessss. Although after reading the novella, Destroy Me, I have to admit I wish the chapters alternated POVs. I loved reading Warner’s POV in the novella.

Non-spoiler reviews for Shatter Me AND Destroy Me went live on my blog and Goodreads today! Link to my blog is in my bio. Please check it out! 😘😘

This book is so beautiful, it deserves its moment to shine. 😉 Quite literally. I can’t believe my vacation went by so fast - just one more day then I’m heading back home. I could have used one more week. 😂

🍂 Initial attraction (cover buy): Daughter of Smoke and Bone and it just so turns out, it was both beautiful and a great book.
🍂 First impression (bought book because summary): Splintered - I bought this one because I knew it was a Alice in Wonderland retelling, unfortunately I didn’t enjoy it as much as I might have hoped.
🍂 First date (first book in a series that made you want to read the rest): The Raven Boys - quite specifically, the very ending of The Raven Boys sucked me into this series completely.
🍂 Late night phone calls (book that kept you up all night): Illuminae for sure. It kept me on the edge of my seat and I just couldn’t stop reading and when I had to I kept thinking about this book.
🍂 Thinking about the future (book you want to reread soon): The Wind Singer by William Nicholson. I remember loving it so much in my childhood - I hope I love it just as much now.

So yes I was super excited for this book but not I haven't read it yet. I can never read a book right after it's release I have to let it sit there for a while lol. Maybe I just feel guilty for all the other unread books on my shelf 🤔

In other news I finished watching the 3rd season of Zoo and this season is just CRAZY!!!! I'm not even sure if it's good crazy it just had too many plot twists and I feel like the science fiction was way out of hand??? Does that even make sense? I'll still give their next season a chance if they have another one (but they sort of have to after that cliffhanger).
#5: The only pocket version (in English) I have left! This came in a set of classics, each in a dark, muted colour of the rainbow. They looked so good altogether but I was the bad guy and just took one home with me. I can find very little about these 'Elm Classics' online so if anyone wants to shed some light on this little beauty, please feel free!

Además de los personajes feministas de Austen, podemos verla a ella misma como tal. No nos olvidemos que ser una escritora en los días en que la autora de Sense and Sensibility lo fue era un mérito en sí... Este año se cumplieron 200 años de su muerte y, para rendirle homenaje, el Banco de Inglaterra lanzó el billete de 10 libras con su rostro. Así, Jane se convierte en la primera escritora mujer en aparecer en un billete inglés, siguiendo los pasos de Shakespeare y Dickens. Qué bueno sería que en la Argentina también engalanáramos nuestros pesos con el rostro de los grandes escritores que hemos sabido gestar. {cómo me gustan los lunes de @viajarenpalabras 😍}

{Poldark 2015-} What are Americans thinking of Poldark season 3 so far? I'm loving it! Drake and Morwenna are my new OTP and I can't wait to see how their relationship plays out on screen!👏🏻 I've read the books (well, 10 out of 12), so I know all the characters are involved in a ton of drama this season... I'm preparing myself 😅😂
