Robert Phillip Kolker wrote one of my favorite books about film and culture, A Cinema of Loneliness (1980). His new book is The Extraordinary Image: Orson Welles, Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, and the Reimagining of Cinema. 📚

Fabulous Futuristic and Whole 🙌 ✨ Ha! Happy Friday!! Awesome news!! I just received #newbooks and loving the first print of #Undamaged written by Alex and Winsome Brinkley via @Brinkley's Publishing. I can't wait for you to read this powerfull message of knowing you are Undamaged because of Jesus Christ.
You will love the beautiful picturistic interior in every chapter and the big easy to read print!! Thank you Brinkley's Publishing (see over 14 books on Amazon).
Hope everyone is relaxing and tucking into leftovers! Any true crime buffs or murderinos out there? This one is for you.
If you are interested in true crime, you’ve probably heard of Michelle McNamara, a journalist who among other investigations was focused on what she dubbed The Golden State Killer, an elusive sexual predator and murderer in California. Though she died before completing her work, it was finished by her colleague and has an intro by Gillian Flynn and an afterword by her husband, Patton Oswalt.
A huge thanks to @faberbooks for reaching out to me about this title. It is out in March and I can’t wait to read it and help pass on a piece of Michelle’s legacy.
I’d love to know if you are into true crime and what books you’d recommend!
Some book mail from @littlebrown 🙌🙌

More than a decade later, Kit thinks she's put Diane behind her forever and she's begun to fulfill the scientific dreams Diane awakened in her.
