Lucky bub 👶🏻 having story time 📚with her Nini (she refuses to be called Grandma as that apparently makes her sound old 🤷🏻♀️😂). So incredibly special for me to watch them share this precious time together as it only happens a couple times a year...or 3 if we’re lucky🤞🏻.
What do your kids call their Grandma and Grandpa? #storytime#grandparentslove 💛
A village is a busy place. Published by #tarabooks I love the illustrations in it. However my son does not care for this book. It was one of the more expensive books in their collection. I m hoping he ll change his mind and start reading it soon .
This morning, we cuddled up and read a new book together. It was a seriously lovely book called "Journey to Constellation Station" written by @lbarrybooks the story is great and the artwork is wonderful! If you are a fan of space, adventure, imagination and fun.. you'll love this one. For whatever reason, we have always been late Christmas decorators. The last 5 or so years mainly because we left town for a week or two a few days after Thanksgiving. The holidays always feel so rushed and like we don’t get to enjoy the season. •
This year we are staying home (no early December travel!), Hill took today and tomorrow off work for a long long weekend, we got our tree up and decorated.....with 5 days left in November!!! •
It was so nice to enjoy some quiet time with the kids this afternoon making those holiday memories that I remember as a kid. And I’m actually excited to get more decorating done tomorrow! 🎄❤️ #itsstartingtolookalotlikechristmas
And this one, inspired by one of my favorite childhood books about a girl ghost who haunts the friends she had when she was alive. (But I can't remember the name of the book!!😖) #girlghost#youllbesorry#kidsbooks
Love this idea via @raisingreadersme “Do you have a favorite December book tradition? A book a day is a fun way to countdown to the holiday your family celebrates this month. It can easily be done with books you already have, or books you borrow from the library!
1. Wrap up a number of your favorite books (we'll use 24 as an example)
2. Label them 1 through 24.
