Anyone else geek out over PD?! As a special education teacher I rarely get PD at my school that is super relevant. I am so excited to be attend a well rated district PD call IEP Facilitation. Cannot wait to learn and collaborate with others that do what I do for the next two days ☺️
After about two months of having my own account in the teacher Instagram community, I figured it's time to introduce myself! Hi, I'm Kirsten 👋🏼 I am a push-in inclusion special education teacher 🤓 I work with third graders and kindergarteners 📚This is my third year teaching, but my first year in special education 🍎 I spent the last two years working as a third grade ELA teacher. While I loved parts of that job, I ultimately wasn't as happy as I wanted to be, so I made the switch to Special Ed. It has been a super positive change for me! 🤗 I am originally from Pennsylvania. I attended Elizabethtown College, and graduated dual certified in Early Childhood and Special Education in 2015. 🎓after graduation, I moved to Jacksonville, Florida and have been here ever since! 🌞I'm passionate about becoming a better reading teacher and helping my students to feel successful. Thanks for following along!!
