HOW WILDLIFE CURRENTLY FEELS...How do we go about helping them have a better future??? PLEASE ADD YOUR THOUGHTS INTO THE COMMENT SECTION. WE HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER FOR A BETTER FUTURE! Here are a few of my thoughts:
1. We need to build economies around wildlife and conservation. To create an industry that supplies jobs, drives economic impact, and makes wildlife worth more alive than dead. (The current model where we beg people for money to protect wildlife is not a viable nor sustainable one.) 2. We need to work together and create a united front that is solely working for the benefit of wildlife and the future of the planet. (The ego battles, arguments over semantics, and constant infighting needs to stop. We have a bigger responsibility and that is to protect what we vow to and fight their battles vs. our own.) 3. We need to tell better stories, create improved content, and become better marketers. WE NEED TO CREATE MATERIAL THAT “THE PUBLIC” WANTS TO CONSUME VS. CREATING MATERIAL THAT “WE” WANT THEM TO CONSUME. (We cannot continue putting information out into the world that is negative, finger-pointing, and divisive.) 4. One definition of INSANITY: doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. (It is very clear that what we are doing does not work so it is a necessity to innovate and try
something new.) I will finish with a question:
If you were to meet someone on the street who was negative, blamed everyone else for their problems, was extremely opinionated, didn’t want to listen yet told you how you need to behave, and then asked you for money; what would your reaction be? #animals#wildlife#pets#petsofinstagram#nature#saveanimals#savewildlife#animalsinneed#loveanimals#animallove#animalkingdom#animalsofinstagram#nonprofit#conservation#environment#selfworth#climatechange#savetheplanet#betterworld#buildingabetterworld#therevivalproject#business#generative#economy#entrepreneur#entrepreneurship
EWB will be collaborating with the FIU Geology Club for field sampling in the Nature Preserve this Friday! Join us to learn more about the water-quality tests we will be conducting, and the instruments we will be using, along with the proper procedures for sampling in the field. This is a great opportunity to get involved with our water-quality project in Nicaragua!
Refer to the flyer for more information. Please email us at email@example.com if you are attending!
