C.O. Bigelow rose salve lip balm is a classic. Upon application you smell a mingling of Rose and soft warm honey. The Rose is not loud at all, a quiet muted Rose. The salve is a soft pink color, and it is not sticky at all. I only need to apply this once a day in the morning to my lips. Your lips are not shiny , they just look soft and nourished. You can use for all dry areas like cuticles, elbows, and knees. This scent reminds me of the smell of a new book pages, earthy and fresh. This book of symbols is a great read for the coffee table or anywhere. If you don’t want to get hooked on a long novel and want a short interesting read open this book. Soothing to the body and mind❤️#goodreads#cobigelow#rosesalvecobigelow#salve#symbolism#coffeetablebooks#read#classcosmetics#classic#lipsalve#skincare#lipcare

They met when they were kids.
They were friends, lovers, and then husband and wife.
They were supposed to be together forever.
He was her Superman.
She was his happiness.
And then he went pro.
And she doubted something that was supposed to be forever.
Mistakes were made in exchange for dreams, and hearts were shattered.
Their forever crumbled right before their eyes.
He went on to play for the Washington Warriors. He ate, breathed, and slept professional hockey. All he had left after her was the ice. He was in magazines, he won a Stanley Cup, and he had a crowd of people screaming his name. He had everything. Didn’t he?
It’s hard to move on from an addiction, and she was addicted. Drunk on love too early on, she never truly moved on from her first love. She faded in and out of life, trying to ignore her need. But bad habits have a way of coming back when you least expect them too.
For years they went separate ways, until her Superman falls from the sky.
He was on a helicopter after a big win when the engine cut out. He knows he’s not making it out alive. Even with the screams of his teammates shouting in the background as they crash toward earth, all he can think of is her. He’ll never get to see her again…
Love is unforgiving dragging her back to heartache. She only wants to help him get better from the accident and move on with her life. She never planned on falling back in love with him. She never planned on falling so hard a second time.
Lovesick and broken, they crash right back into each other.
‘The Dilemma of a Ghost’ and ‘Anowa’ by Ama Ata Aidoo.
#thedelimmaofaghost is a drama about Ato, who has studied in America and returns to his native Ghana with an African American wife, Eulalie. Whilst the couple is seen at the beginning to be making optimistic plans for the future, Ato’s inability communicate his western marriage ideals to his family and his family’s or cultural expectations to his wife has serious repucussions that sees Eulalie abusing alcohol and Ato trying, but failing to please both his family and wife. 🌻
#Anowa is a drama about a headstrong young woman named Anowa who marries, to the dismay of her parents a poor man. The couple work hard and in time amass a great fortune. But while her husband dresses in fine clothes and lives in splendour, Anowa walks around barefoot dressed in rags, restless in idleness and even after many years, still uncomfortable with buying slaves. 🌻
The two plays employ irony and parody and are both about ‘the conflicts between the individualism of westernised culture and the social traditions of Africa.’ .
Anowa was definitely my favourite of the two plays. Anowa is strong and persevering, and is considered strange by all and witch by some. But this perceived strangeness is due solely due to her refusal to be complacent and accept the status quo of patriachy in her society and also admonishes slave trade as an inhumane act. 🌻
A truly great read. Im starting to love plays.
Have you read any of the two plays? i would like to hear you thoughts. 🌻
Hope you had a very green Monday. Enjoy whats left of it
I'm so grateful to all who came to my Ontario book launch yesterday in Georgetown. It was a great day for sharing how important this plant is for our health and lives. There's still time to order the book for Christmas. See link in bio.
Hello @happymoodstudio ! My name is Elizabeth, I am a 15 year old book and candle lover surviving high school in the USA!🤗
Random facts about me:
-I love my 2 cats and puppy Snorkie. -In my spare time I read, write, take pictures, play guitar or binge Stranger things or some other Netflix show. 😁
-My favorite book series is the maze runner!
-I normally post daily! Unless I’m out of pictures or I’m having a super busy week. (Which is usually rare. Even if I do I post in the mornings)
Why I entered your rep search! -I am obsessed with candles. Like to the point where if I’m at a store and I find the candle isle...well the chances are I’ll end up buying one. - I’ve been entering a lot of rep searches lately because I really want the opportunity to share product reviews with my followers and help a shop grow!
Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity! Good luck to the other participants. May the force be with you. ❤️ (even though I really hope I’m at least strongly considered to have the chance to join your team!) #happymoodrep
