This #transformationtuesday is dedicated to this super special client! When she joined Body Plot 40 weeks ago she was miserable, low in confidence and suffered massively from a horrible accident she had. Exercise was scary as there were times were simply walking was a struggle. She had no idea what to eat, how to eat and how to get the best out of her health. Fast forward 40 weeks later and she’s gone down in scale weight, dress sizes and gone up in confidence, happiness and health. She currently works out 6 days a week using HIIT, steady state cardio and weight training, she still goes out every week to eat but makes better choices, she has learnt SO much about nutrition and what to feed herself AND feels confident to maintain it! She’s constantly complimented by everyone around her and she finally realises that - flus, holidays, accidents, injuries and social events won’t stop her for she is UNSTOPPABLE! Today 36 women took london by storm and by ladies I mean our fierce, strong and fabulous Bolly Burners! It was our Bolly Burn social today and I can only tell you how much it was an absolute pleasure getting to know them even better, hearing their stories and journeys, understanding how much the classes have helped them and how much they love coming. Women who have health conditions such as leg cramps, lower back pain, sciatica feel so much better after coming to my classes. Women who HATE exercise told me today that this is the only class they have ever stuck to and love coming back to. Hearing this coupled with seeing how hard they work every single week makes each and every one of them such a pleasure to coach and makes my job the best job in the world ❀️. Happy Workout Wednesday!!! There’s tonnes and tonnes of videos from women all over Instagram with booty workouts and core workouts but not so many showing you how to sort out your chest. Now ladies, chest work isn’t just for men. As we get older, things start looking down for us πŸ‘‡πŸ½πŸ‘€ so let’s PERK those babies UP! ⬆️. Plus no one likes that itty bitty fat sticking out near our underarms when wearing dresses/bikinis/strap tops etc so let’s tone it up!

1️⃣ Push Up - this can be done off a wall or a low object like a chair if you’re just starting out or are injured. Progressively move onto the floor whilst always ensuring you’re keeping your core engaged. I’d combine this exercise with chest flies and do 12 reps each followed by a 30 second break. (Try not to hyper extend on your push ups like I am here, I am massively hyper mobile so hyper extending feels normal to me.)
.2️⃣ Chest Flies - make sure that Elbow is slightly bent. You don’t want to hyper extend (ouch) x 12 reps (Ive also shown you a standing version)
3️⃣ Chest Press x 15 I’d combine this with one arm chest press followed by a 30 second break
4️⃣ One arm chest press with a one arm hold x 15-20 each arm
5️⃣ Dual Chest Press x 15 (bring those dumbbells together and bring those down to your chest and up!) .
Throughout all of these keep your core engaged, chest elevated (as if a string is tied to your top and to the ceiling) and exhale on the work! .
